Ira authored the book, WIRING FOR WIRELESS SITES. This book explains all detailed facets of planning and installing a radio / wireless system at a site; and, explains the installation standards for the industry.
 

The GCT books are designed for the novice just starting their training and field experience along with those who have ample experience in the communications and electronic fields. These study guide are also for those who want to learn new technology, as there is a constant advancement in communications and electronics; and, as a refresher course for others. These books can be used as study guides for the Electronics Technicians Association, International (ETA or ETA-I), General Communications Technician (GCT) certification tests Levels 1 and 2. Each level beyond Level 1 will build on the previous level of knowledge. The intent is to provide the communications and electronic industries with competent technicians and engineers who are very effective and efficient in their jobs. There is some Level 1 material that is repeated in Level 2 to provide continuity from the basic information to the more advanced subjects covered in Level 2.

This MCEI books are designed for students, beginners in the mobile communications equipment installation field; workers who want to learn more about mobile radio and electronics; and, as a refresher on some of the basics in the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communications and electronic equipment field. These are two of three books to be used as study guides for the Electronics Technicians Association International Mobile Communications Equipment certifications. Each level past level 1 will build on the previous level of knowledge. The plan is to provide the communication and electronics industries with competent technicians who can be very effective and efficient in their jobs.

RFI discusses radio fundamentals; common interference types; causes; common and uncommon cures; preventing interference; and, measuring interference.
